As most of you are aware, we have had to implement a few changes on the site recently for various reasons.. One of the changes I can tell you all about here on the main page is the Latest Files tab at the top of the site.

This newest of pages is open to all of our V.I.P members, and if you click on it, you will see it is locked. Dont worry tho, all you have to do to access it is ask admin for the password by emailing in to the addy you were given when you signed up.

Please head your email “Latest Files Unlock Code” or something similar..

This is only the first of a number of changes to be made here on A4A. The second one will come into effect later in the year and I feel it is prudent to get this out in the open as soon as possible..At the moment we have around 4,750 members in the V.I.P Club. When we reach 5000 we will be closing the V.I.P Club as it is and we will only be accepting new members by a referral system from existing members ONLY.

The magic number for us is 5000. No more, no less. Any member who cancels their membership, or any member who we have had to remove for whatever reason, obviously will leave open a space for someone else. We will then allocate this ex members V.I.P Club place to the next in the queue when it comes to setting up a new account for them.

New blood will be added to the club in a chronological order based on the date the application to join our V.I.P Club is received. Basically, newbies will be added into the maximum of 5000 peeps when a space comes up for them. At current levels we`re probably looking about March 2012 when this will come into being. More info will follow as we approach the 5000 members mark.

We didn`t really want to have to implement this M/O, but after the events of recent days, there seems no other option but to proceed this way to secure the longevity of A4A..

There will also be less and less posts placed on the main page as you may have already noticed..The main focus for posting new material will be based around our page tabs..like the above mentioned “Latest Files” tab.

I hope you can all read between the lines as to why we are doing this

Anyways, there is about 6 gig of new goodies awaiting your perusal on the Latest Files page..go ahead and request the unlock code and have a look at the little treats we already have on there..There will be much more added as we get in to February.

On a personal note I would also like to thank many of you for your best wishes and offers of support and ideas that we recently received in..little things like that really does make all this worthwhile..

I dont know about you guys but certain tunes I/we work on seem to suit certain days of the week better than others, and if I had the mixing head on this weekend instead of doing heaps of site updates, this track would have Sunday well and truly written all over it !

So if you like your beats in the Soulfuric/Hed Kandi/Defected stylee, this one is most definately for you..This Ibiza club classic was very recently up for grabs via a remix competition which unfortunately has now closed, but, you know me by now..Thought it best to get a copy of the stems while they were still available

I had a little look at the UK/US top 40`s today and gotta say it was a bit of a surprise to see at Number 36 in the UK`s Gotye “Somebody That I Used to Know”..
A bit of a result there for Gotye..wonder if it will crack the US top 40 soon?

Anyways, I`ve been informed that the remix stems pack was a little incomplete and missing the chorus vocal.. Luckily, we got sent in the full acapella so I`ve included that in this new pack (as well as the instrumental), which, is now password free so just grab away if you didn`t get it last week.. If you did, just grab the pella or the inst if you want that

As a bit of a footnote, I`d like to mention that we`ve had a surprising amount of interest on this remix pack and plenty of interest from several of our higher profile producers, so expect some big remixes soon, and even these old ears are getting slightly turned on to the track.. Not that I wanted them to lol..Seems it`s a bit of a grower as they say

Here`s some remix parts and packs I put together for someone very recently and since we seem to be making monthly folders up of non passworded files at the minute, it might as well get a posting on the main page..and, you guessed it, yes, I will probably update this folder as well over the coming days so do keep an eye on it.

Any zip file in the Filepost folder marked “NO PASS” has no password on it so you can just download it straight away and get busy !!

Just want to trial out a new way of posting pellas for a while guys.. There will be for the whole month of January 2012, a single folder of files that will be continually updated with…. Acapellas ! and maybe a few other things..

As this is only a trial thing we`ll see how it goes. We may or may not keep the format but for now, do check the folder regular-ish for all the latest updates to it. I`m hoping to add files to it pretty much by the hour.(unless sleeping).

For now, there`s over a hundred acapellas in there… No zips/passwords.. All mp3 or wav.. Have a look see

How long has it taken for the real “Moves Like Jagger” instrumental to surface? I will tell you…Far too long. As our regulars will know MLJ has been a bit of a favourite around A4A towers for a while, and for it to take this long for the instrumental to get out is something of a major feat for the label, a surprise fact only surpassed by the chart run this tune is still having..

Oh,

So thanks to not one, but two of our regulars, the MLJ instrumental is now available for Mash-up purposes..And I dare say stand by for an absolute flood of them..
